These terms govern Last Statement, operated by Ruzylo Cloud, LLC ("we", "us"). They are written to be read rather than to be survived. Where a sentence below could be read two ways, the reading less favourable to us is the one we will honour.
1 · What the service is
Last Statement takes balances, interest rates and minimum payments that you supply, and computes a payoff schedule from them: an order of accounts, a monthly figure, a projected date of final payment, and the total interest that plan implies. It also provides a free calculator that performs the same computation in your browser.
It is software, provided as-is. We do not warrant that it will be available without interruption or free of defects, except where the law does not permit us to say so.
2 · It is arithmetic, not financial advice
Nothing produced by Last Statement is financial, investment, tax, legal or credit advice, and we are not your adviser, broker, lender, or credit counsellor.
Every projection is an estimate built on simplified assumptions — principally that the rates you entered stay fixed, that payments are made on time, and that no new balances are added. Real credit agreements contain variable rates, fees, penalty rates, promotional periods and payment-allocation rules that a schedule of this kind does not model. Where our figure and your lender's terms disagree, your lender's terms control.
For advice about your particular situation, a licensed financial adviser or a nonprofit credit counselling agency is the right place to go, and we would rather you went.
3 · Account — optional, always
The calculator requires no account of any kind. Buying the app requires an email address so we can send you the key; after that, the app runs without you signing in to anything.
Where you do choose to sign in, you are responsible for keeping that access to yourself, and you should write to [email protected] if you believe someone else has it. We will help; we will not charge you for the help.
4 · Acceptable use
Use it for your own debts, or to help someone with theirs. Do not attempt to break, overload, or reverse the service in order to attack it, and do not resell it as your own product. That is the entire list.
5 · Payment, and the thirty days
Last Statement is a one-time purchase of $39. There is no subscription, no renewal, no auto-charge, and no tier held back for more money. The price is shown before you are charged, and payment is processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card number.
Thirty days, money back, no reasons asked. Write to [email protected] within thirty days of purchase and the payment comes back. You do not have to explain, and we will not ask you to sit through an offer first. Your statutory refund rights, where you have them, sit on top of this and are not reduced by it.
Purchases made through the App Store are refunded by Apple under Apple's process; if that route fails you, write to us and we will make it right at this end.
6 · Ending it
You may stop using Last Statement at any time; there is nothing to cancel, because there is nothing running. We may suspend access in the narrow case of use that attacks the service or another person, and if we ever discontinue the product we will say so on this site rather than letting it quietly stop working.
7 · Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability arising out of the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the preceding twelve months or fifty dollars, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
8 · Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, and disputes are heard in the state and federal courts sitting there. If a mandatory consumer-protection law of your home country gives you a better forum or a better right, that law wins.
9 · Changes, and how you will hear about them
If we change these terms materially, we will email everyone who has given us an address and post the change on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use the service after that is acceptance. We will not use a change of terms to convert a one-time purchase into a recurring one — that is not a promise about intent, it is a term of this contract.
